New Zealand Sign Language Week [8 - 14 May 2017] celebrates one of New Zealand's official languages. Sign language is the voice of Deaf people. Anyone can learn New Zealand Sign Language and its easy and fun to learn.

Finger-spelling Alphabet and Numbers


New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) is unique to New Zealand.
Sign language is a combination of hand shapes, facial expression and body movements.

A good place to start learning NZSL is to learn the NZSL Alphabet.
Try to finger-spell your name using the alphabet and how to count to 12!
